He Is The Ref!

All-time great ref joins ColorFlash
Football fans of a certain age may very well remember the You Are The Ref article in Shoot! magazine every week. It was certainly one of my favourite items. The man behind that over the years has been Keith Hackett and here at ColorFlash we are immensely proud to welcome him to our Advisory Board.
Keith refereed a string of cup finals in England and was a familiar face on TV screens across England and Europe and was probably the iconic English referee of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. In 1988 he officiated at the European Championships as well as the Olympic Games.

Since stepping off the field in 1994 Keith has been extremely prominent in referee development and overall game improvement  including helping to drive the introduction of goal-line technology. He has authored several books on refereeing and writes regularly for, among others, the Daily Telegraph.

Keith describes ColorFlash as an "exciting product" and is impressed that our clear and unambiguous aim is to assist referees. His knowledge of actually affecting genuine change in football for the good of the game and for the benefit of referees is a potential game-changer for this project.
